Lance
is originally from Manheim Pennsylvania. At 18 he played Jr A hockey
in Jackson Hole, WY in the American Frontier Hockey League. At 19 He
played minor pro in the Sunshine Hockey League with the Lakeland Warriors.
After attending camp for the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL he returned
to Junior A hockey playing the the Prince George Spruce Kings of the
BCJHL and Amherst Mooseheads of the Maritimes Junior Hockey League.
He returned for 1 season to minor pro with the Nashville Nighthawks
of the Central hockey League, before attending Augustana University
in Camrose Alberta. After leaving Camrose Lance was the Head Coach/GM
of Northern State University Hockey team competing in the ACHA. Lance
married and moved to Red Deer in 2000 and began working on ways to be
involved after his playing years. Lance is the current owner of the
Alberta Hockey Academy, Xcelerate Canada Hockey Training Center, and
Endlessice Equipment Company; manufacturer of Hockey Skatemills.
Ryan
Coghlan

Ryan
Coghlan is coming to the Alberta Hockey Academy. After playing in the
WHL for four years he continued his career at the pro level playing
2 more years, with the Florida Seals of the SPHL and also with the Wichita
Thunder of the CHL. Ryan also had experience at the NHL level
attending the Vancouver Canucks camp at the start of the 2005 hockey
campaign. Throughout his hockey career Ryan played over 400
games at both the Western Hockey League level and pro level while learning
what it takes to make it to the top in professional sports. Ryan was
known for a great work ethic both on and off the ice and also for his
tremendous skating ability. He was looked up to by his teammates for
his incredible approach to always be at a top fitness level. He has
also been involved in teaching at hockey schools for the last 5 summers
and had become a Head Instructor at the Okanagan Hockey School, known
as being one of the largest in the world. Now as a Certified Personal
Trainer, Ryan is ready to bring the students of the Alberta Hockey Academy
to their highest potential, guaranteeing hard work and having fun while
learning what it takes to reach the next level. He is looking forward
to meeting you and bringing you closer to reaching your ‘goals
and dreams’.
